Event Description

Suppose you’re in a quick-stop grocery and someone draws a gun. Or a fight breaks out and a woman with a knife moves quickly toward you. What should you do? You have split seconds to decide. Is that a gun or a cellphone in their hand? And if you must shoot, can you get a shot off quickly enough to survive, without hitting bystanders? Our live-fire scenarios help you prepare for such crucial moments.

Event Highlights

  • Safety Briefing
  • Warmup exercises
  • Skill building – for example sight picture, trigger control, getting off the X, clearing malfunctions
  • Scenarios – for example shoot-no-shoot situations, shooting on the move and from cover, surprise confrontations
  • Long guns – bring your rifle OR shotgun (but not both) for tactical practice in Bay 2

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required to participate

ADTA membership is required and may take up to seven (7) days to process a membership application, so plan ahead. Click here to start your application process. We cannot accept registrations or payment at the door for this event.
