***********************
If you need a little more time to practice with your handgun to get comfortable with it, or to be able to reliable hit your target, we encourage you to reach out to us and arrange one-on-one time with an ADTA Mentor prior to this event.
ADTA Mentor Program Must be an Annual Member to participate with an ADTA Mentor. Reach out for a mentor at the workshops, or e-mail us at membership@armeddefense.org All ADTA Mentors are ADTA Range Safety Officers. Your ADTA Mentor will schedule directly with you, to agree upon a time to meet at a local shooting range. You will be responsible for the range and ammunition costs (typically $40 to $50 per mentoring session).
ADTA Mentor Program
If you do not yet have the appropriate equipment, let us know at any of our upcoming workshops, and we can help direct you to appropriate sources and materials you can purchase before the event.
Please arrive with your firearm unloaded and cased; event staff will direct you where and when to uncase and transfer your firearm to your holster.
If you have a CPL and normally carry, you may arrive with your firearm loaded and holstered. Event staff will direct you where and when to unload and reholster your firearm at the start of the event.
We run a cold range, with firearms unloaded and holstered until you are on the firing line and instructed to load.
