Presented by ADTA South:
Introduction to New Shooter 101

FREE HANDS-ON WORKSHOP—Open to ADTA members, friends, family, and the public.

Please RSVP to let us know you will be there!

VENUE:  Federal Way Senior Center, Federal Way, Washington.

Event Description:

Would you like to learn how to shoot a handgun skillfully and safely? Then consider participating in our hands-on New Shooter 101 workshop!

You won't learn everything about shooting in this seminar.  Your take-away will be an understanding of how the New Shooter 101 training program works, and you will have the opportunity to meet some of the ADTA mentors who provide the training.

In a nutshell:  You learn by watching videos at home, then work with an experienced ADTA Mentor to practice the moves you saw. This way you build your skills at your own pace, knowing you will be safe while learning.

Click here to find out more about our New Shooter 101 program.  Then please join us at the seminar!

Important information:

  • ADTA Range Safety Officers (RSOs) will be present to check you in at the door.

  • If you normally carry a firearm, you are welcome to do so at this event.

  • Loaded carry firearms must remain holstered -- no exceptions.

  • If you bring a firearm to show to the group, or want to participate in our hands-on exercises, our Range Safety Officers will help you safely unload and clear your firearm at the door.

  • Have a question about ADTA membership, events, or activities? Many ADTA members are available both before and after the presentation to help. Just look for our members wearing ADTA hats and shirts.
